Apply Now: Online Application
The housing application process is simple, but all requested information must be provided for your application to be complete. Please review the eligibility requirements and preparation tips before applying.
HASCO’s Senior and Disabled Housing waitlist is currently open and accepting applications. The wait time for this program is 7-9 years, or more, from your date of application.
The Housing Choice (Section 8) Voucher waitlist is currently closed. This page will be updated when the Section 8 program reopens for applications.
Preparation and Tips
The HASCO housing application includes 10 sections and typically takes about 30 minutes to complete from start to finish. Each section may ask for different information that is needed to determine your eligibility and place you on the appropriate waiting lists.
Please note: the application must be completed in one sitting. Your progress cannot be saved, so we strongly recommend gathering all information before you begin.
Completing Your Application
Your Information
The person completing the application is considered the Head of Household. You’ll need a valid email address to begin the application; this is where you will receive a confirmation email once your application is complete.
Your Family Details
Enter all household members who will live in supported housing and provide basic information for each person, including full name and Social Security number. Our Senior and Disabled Housing waitlists can support families of 1-5 individuals. If your family has more than 5 total members, you would not be eligible to apply for or remain active on our Senior and Disabled Housing waitlist.
A Valid Mailing Address
You may use a residential address, the address of a friend or relative, a case manager’s office, or general delivery. When your name reaches the top of the waitlist, you will be notified by US Mail, so it is important to keep this information up to date.
Your Income
Report all income sources for each household member, including wages and disability income.
Eligibility Questions
We will ask you to review information that will help us verify your eligibility, including whether you are already on one of our Housing Programs.
Authorization for the Release of Information
This authorization allows HUD, USDA Rural Development, and HASCO to collect and verify necessary personal and household information to determine and maintain eligibility for housing assistance. Signing is required because without consent to share and verify this information, an applicant may be denied assistance.
Your Lists
This section shows the Senior and Disabled properties you may qualify for based on the information you entered on your application. Each property has its own waiting list. You may select all options that fit your housing and location needs. You can learn more about available properties in the HASCO Properties section.
*The Housing Choice (Section 8) Voucher waitlist is currently closed. This page will be updated when the Section 8 program reopens for applications. You will not be able to apply for the Section 8 program using this application.
Additional Questions
We will ask you to verify some final information before completing your application. This section will also include informational documents regarding Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and Fair Housing that we encourage you to review.
In addition, you may name a trusted adult as an additional contact for HASCO if we are unable to reach you by completing a Supplemental Contact Form. Once this form is complete, you can send it via email to waitlist@hasco.org, by mail, or drop it off in-person at our main office (address below).
You’re Done!
A confirmation email will be sent to the Head of Household at the email you entered at the beginning. This email will include the properties you selected during the application and can be saved or printed for your records.
If you need language assistance or help completing the application, please call the HASCO office at 425-290-8499.
HASCO Mailing Address: 12711 4th Ave West, Everett, WA 98204.
