Housing Authority of Snohomish County Property Nationally Recognized for Renovation
Westend Apartments in Marysville, owned by the Housing Authority of Snohomish County, received a national Excellence in Construction Pyramid Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors on March 28, 2019. The 133-unit apartment complex located at 1350 Cedar Ave. underwent a major interior and exterior renovation, which was completed on time and within budget. Westend offers modern, affordable apartment living to the central Marysville neighborhood. HASCO partnered with Synergy Construction (general contractor) and Environmental Works (architect) on the Westend project.
Renovation improvements completed at Westend included:
- Replacement of the existing windows and siding
- Replacement of roofing and gutters
- New energy and water efficient appliances and fixtures in units and common areas
- Replacement of the interior and exterior lighting with new energy efficient LED lighting
