HASCO Receives Public Funding Awards to Rehabilitate Senior Housing in Snohomish

HASCO has owned the 24-unit Woodlake Manor III Apartments in the City of Snohomish since 1999; however, no funds have been available to complete renovations to the 34-year-old property since then.  However, recent grant awards of $1,200,000 from the State Department of Commerce through the Housing Trust Fund, and nearly $750,000 from the Snohomish County Office of Housing and Community Development, will allow HASCO to complete much-needed work to the property, including new roofs, siding, energy efficiency improvements, and new appliances, extending the life of the property and improving quality of life for the 24 senior and disabled households that call Woodlake Manor III home.  Rehab work is expected to start later this year and take about a year to complete.
