Rental Assistance Programs

The Housing Authority of Snohomish County operates a variety of rental assistance programs serving more than 5,000 families, seniors and disabled individuals.

  • Tenant Based Assistance - Rent from a private landlord and we can help you pay the rent.
  • Public Housing - Rent an apartment or duplex and pay 30% of your income.
  • Affordable Housing - Rent an apartment and pay an affordable rent, regardless of your income.
  • Senior and Disabled Housing - Special housing for senior and disabled persons.
  • Rural Development - Disabled, Elderly and Family Housing in Rural Snohomish County.
  • Special Needs Housing - Housing that meets special needs you may have or request.

Home Buyer Programs

Owning your own home is the American dream and HASCO is making that dream affordable for many working families in Snohomish County. Since 1992, HASCO has assisted more than one hundred area families to purchase their first homes with affordable developments and purchase assistance.

Markland Woods is a Mountlake Terrace community of 157 two, three and four bedroom townhomes and condos. Homes may be available for sale by current owners. Come see Markland Woods at 23337 Cedar Way in Mountlake Terrace.

Home Improvement Programs

Are you a low-income home owner? Do you live in your home? You may be eligible for a low interest home rehabilitation loan. The Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program provides home improvement loans to low-income homeowners who live outside the city limits of Everett, but within Snohomish County.
